Advocacy

We provide individuals who are currently or previously incarcerated with the access to justice they deserve. Our court navigation services include parole board support, police complaints, bail release plans, disciplinary hearings, civil law support and more.

In court

Our member organizations work to address institutionalized gender discrimination in federal and provincial correctional facilities across Nova Scotia. Advocates monitor conditions of confinement and identify human rights abuses against prisoners.

The challenges of community re-entry can impact employment, education, travel, and personal relationships. By offering record suspension application support, we work to remove the barriers that make it difficult for people with criminal records to turn their lives around.
